The Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo Circuit held the only spanish round of the FIA WTCC on March 31st and April 1st, 2012. Yvan Muller and Alain Menu achieved both victories.
Chevrolet achieved both victories in the WTCC 2012 races held at the Circuit. Yvan Muller and Alain Menu achieved one victory apiece and the 17-year-old spanish driver Pepe Oriola achieved the lead in the Yokohama Trophy.
In the FIA WTCC 2011 races held at the Comunitat Valenciana Ricardo Tormo Circuit Chevrolet and Yvan Muller achieved both victories. Whith these results, Chevrolet claimed both the 2011 Drivers' and Manufacturers' World titles.
SEAT achieved both victories in the FIA WTCC 2010 races held at the Circuit: one by italian driver Gabriele Tarquini and other by portuguese driver Tiago Monteiro.
In addition to these victories, the Spanish driver Jordi Gené (also a SEAT driver) achieved his best results of the season by finishing fourth and fifth respectively and completing a great weekend for the manufacturer.
